i. One mature, organically grown, already flowered greenish-yellow flower plant without flower
ii. Plastic plant pot (no repotting required for 1 year)
iii. Charcoal potting medium (~50 grams)
iv. 200 ml plastic spray bottle (for watering and fertilizing)
- Orchid Plants can be kept either indoors or outdoors.
- Best to keep Orchid Plants indoors during peak summer and peak rainy seasons.
- If kept indoors, it is best to keep Orchid Plants next to a window with good natural light and air circulation; avoid direct sunlight.
- If kept outdoors, Orchid Plants should always be kept only under a shade; direct exposure to sunlight will harm the Orchid Plants rapidly.
- If you are using a spray-can to water Orchid Plants, you can spray multiple times a day. 3 to 4 times during non-summer months and 5 to 6 times during summer months. Ensure that the potting medium is dry to touch before each watering.
- Watering and fertilizing Orchid Plants using a spray-can increases the humidity around which is good for the Orchid Plants.
- If you cannot water Orchid Plants multiple times in a day, then you can pour water around the roots; ensure the potting medium is completely dry to touch before pouring water each time.
- If you are pouring water instead of spraying, then pour once a day during non-summer months and 2 times a day during summer months; always ensure the root area is dry to touch before each watering session.
- Avoid over watering; when it comes to orchids, under watering is safer than over watering.
- Orchid Plants can be fertilized on alternate days up to a maximum of 3 days per week.
- Use Organic Fertilizers from Chakra Orchids to maintain the purity of the plants.
- It will take a few weeks for your orchids to get used to their new surroundings before they bloom their next flower.
- Chances are, the orchid plant will sprout a new branch in its new home before it blooms its next flower. This is a sign that your orchid plant is getting acclimated to its new home.
- 15 to 20 minutes of direct early morning or late evening sunlight exposure every day is good for orchids even though this is not a must.
- Orchid plants require very low maintenance but they thrive with good care.

- Orders received from Sunday through Thursday will be dispatched on the following day. Orders received on Friday and Saturday will be dispatched on the following Monday.
- The delivery cannot be redirected to any other address once the order is prepared for delivery.
- Each plant is packed in individual high quality, strong cardboard boxes to ensure safe delivery.
- Though we take all the precautions to safeguard the plants ordered with flowers, if any flower is damaged during shipping due to its large size, please send us a picture of the plant and the damaged flower to dev@chakraorchids.com and we will process a refund of Rs. 100 for the cost of the flower.
- We do our best to fulfill and dispatch your order in 1 day in most cases. Current delivery time is around 48 hours from the time of receiving your order but there may be some exceptions depending on your delivery address.
